As Friday’s match nears, here are some numbers to know ahead of the derby.

20-10: The Red Bulls have outscored NYCFC, 20-10, through eight MLS meetings. In their previous encounter, both teams took 16 shots (32 total), and combined for 17 shots on goal.


79: Sacha Kljestan’s 79 career MLS assists ranks as No. 13 in MLS’ regular-season all-time records. With a helper on Friday, Kljestan will tie Mauricio Cienfuegos and Chris Henderson for No. 11 on the list. The captain has 10 career assists against NYCFC.
