USL Match Preview: NYRB II Set for Crucial Match at Orlando City B

HARRISON, N.J. (October 6, 2017) – New York Red Bulls II (12-13-5, 41 points) head to Orlando, Florida to face Orlando City B (10-8-12, 42 points) Saturday night at Orlando City Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and can be livestreamed via the USL Match Center.

NYRB II enter Saturday’s match needing four points from their final two matches to assure their spot in the USL Playoffs. New York is coming off a 3-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Wednesday in St. Petersburg with Stefano Bonomo and Junior Flemmings tallying goals in the loss. Flemmings is now tied for the team-lead in goals scored with Brandon Allen (9). Vincent Bezecourt also tallied his team-leading tenth assist of the season placing him into a tie for second place in that category in the USL.

Orlando comes into Saturday’s match on a two-game winning streak defeating the Charleston Battery and Richmond Kickers in the process.

In their lone previous matchup back in April, NYRB II defeated Orlando City B, 3-1, at MSU Soccer Park.

Following Saturday’s match, NYRB II finish the regular season at the Rochester Rhinos on October 14 with kickoff set for 6:05 p.m. ET.
