HARRISON, N.J. (Oct. 19, 2017) - For Decision Day, presented by AT&T, of the 2017 MLS regular-season, the New York Red Bulls (13-12-8) and D.C. United (9-19-5) clash at Robert F. Kennedy Stadium on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn in English and Spanish for what will be the final sporting event for RFK.

New York Red Bulls Radio goes live at 3:30 p.m. ET with triHonda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will have the Spanish play-by-play call for New York Red Bulls Radio and will be live at 4 p.m.



With a win against D.C. United, New York will clinch 50 points in a season for the sixth-straight year. A Red Bulls win will raise the Atlantic Cup trophy for the fifth time in the last eight seasons. If New York captures three points against D.C., they will have recorded the most points in the regular season since 2014 with 217 (pending a F.C. Dallas loss).

Luis Robles and Bill Hamid will face off on Sunday as two of the top four active career MLS leaders in shutouts. Both Robles and Hamid sit tied for 12th all-time in MLS with 49 career clean sheets. If either goalkeeper record a shutout, they will become just the 12th goalkeeper in MLS history to reach 50 shutouts.

Felipe has shown his dedication to the sport of soccer with the workload that he puts in game in and game out. In six MLS seasons, Felipe has played in 193 of the possible 203 matches. Of those 193 matches, he has started in 186. For this season, Felipe has started all 33 MLS regular-season matches, missing just nine of the 2,970 possible minutes. Alongside MLS regular-season matches, Felipe has started and played every minute in both CONCACAF Champions League matches against Vancouver and all five U.S. Open Cup matches. Among MLS players, Felipe sits third in most minutes played this season with 2,961. NYCFC defender Alexander Callens is the only player to play every minute through 33 MLS regular-season matches.



New York will enter the Audi 2017 MLS Cup Playoffs as the six seed. The Red Bulls will wait to see their opponent and date of the matchup as Sunday’s Decision Day matches unfold.
