The U-13’s, U-14’s, U-15’s, and U-17’s all defeated Pennsylvania Classics this past Saturday to finish their fall seasons.
Red Bulls U-19’s defeated PA Classics U-17’s, 5-0.
The U-17’s ended their fall season on a three-match unbeaten streak. Joao Vitor recorded a brace in the first half giving the U-17’s a 2-0 lead going into halftime. Only one minute into the second half, Nicholas Rabiu scored his first goal of the season to increase the lead. Defender Liam Wiongrad found his first goal of the season in the 79th minute. Roald Mitchell finished off the scoring in the 89th minute, recording his fourth goal of the season. The U-17’s will now prepare for the Developmental Academy Winter Cup, which begins on December 5.
Red Bulls U-15’s defeated PA Classics U-15’s, 5-0.
The U-15’s won their fifth straight match to close out the fall season in style. Paul Smajlaj recorded his first two goals of the season in the 13th and 34th minute of play. Ezra Widman found the back of the net for the fourth time this season in the 24th minute to give the U-15’s a 3-0 lead going into the break. Darsein Gabriel scored his fourth goal of the season in the 50th minute, while Oscar Valencia finished the scoring in the 70th minute. The U-15’s finished the season with an 8-1-1 record and will now prepare for U-15 friendlies on December 5.
Red Bulls U-14’s defeated PA Classics U-14’s, 7-0.
The U-14’s finished the season unbeaten, and on a four-match winning streak. Lenny Aviles recorded his first hat-trick of the season to lead the U-14’s to the victory. Andrew Jean-Baptiste added a brace, while Patrick Shaw and Mark Bronnik rounded out the scoring. The U-14’s have not allowed a goal in 331 minutes and have scored 19 goals in that span. The U-14’s will now turn their focus to the 2019 ICC Futures Tournament, which starts on December 11.
Red Bulls U-13’s defeated PDA U-13’s, 3-0.
The U-13’s won their seventh match of the season, 3-0. Marco Li Vigni opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Gil de Souza added a second only seven minutes later, which was his second of the year. Finally, Zidane Yanez recorded his team-leading 9th goal of the season to secure the three points for the U-13’s.
Red Bulls U-12’s defeated Philadelphia Union U-12’s, 3-2.
The U-12’s rounded out their fall season with a victory over the Philadelphia Union. Gil de Souza recorded a brace, while Zidane Yanez added the third to help the team secure the three points. The U-12’s will now prepare for the GA Cup in Atlanta, which begins on November 28.
