HARRISON, N.J. (August 6, 2020) - New York Red Bulls II will head to Highmark Stadium to take on Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on August 8. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET, with coverage available on ESPN+.
NYRB II most recently suffered their third loss of the season against Philadelphia Union II, 3-2, on Wednesday night. Midfielder Cherif Dieye scored his first professional goal, while midfielders Kenny Hot and Tapiwa Shumba made their professional debuts.
The last time these two sides met, NYRB II defeated Pittsburgh, 2-1, on July 26. Midfielder Omar Sowe leveled the match right before halftime on a left footed volley, while midfielder Deri Corfe scored the game-winning penalty in second half stoppage time.
Pittsburgh are currently in second place of Group F with a 3-2-0 record. Most recently, they defeated Philadelphia Union II, 4-0, on August 1.
Following Saturdayâs match, NYRB II will welcome Loudoun United FC to Red Bull Arena on August 12 for the first matchup between the clubs this season.
