New York Red Bulls Academy teams had an 2-1-0 record this weekend, with 8 goals scored and 3 goals allowed.
Red Bulls U-14’s earned a 3-0 victory over FC Delco on Saturday. Zidane Yanez recorded his fourth goal of the season to give his team the lead going into the second half. Jeremy Munoz and Pipeloore Olanrewaju each added a goal in the second half to round out the scoring. Olanrewaju now has five goals on the year. The U-14’s are still unbeaten with a 5-0-1 record.
Red Bulls U-13’s defeated FC Delco, 4-1, for the second week in a row on Saturday. In the first half, Adri Mehmeti recorded the only goal converting on a penalty kick. Jack Mize, Patrick Kolano, and Finn Moran each scored a goal in the second half. Mize brought his season total to ten goals, while Moran brought his to six. The U-13’s are now 7-0-1 on the season and still unbeaten.
Red Bulls U-12’s Grey suffered their first loss of the season to PA Classics on Saturday. Matthew Dowling scored the lone goal of the match and his first of the season.
Red Bulls Academy teams have now posted an overall record of 35-6-2, so far this fall season. The teams combined have scored 184 goals and only have allowed 46. There have been 35 occasions, where a player has scored two or more goals in a match, including 12 hat tricks.
