Harrison, NJ (January 21, 2021) – New York Red Bulls and marketing partners Hackensack Meridian Health and JLab Audio teamed-up to provide a touch of holiday cheer within the community in December.

Hackensack Meridian Health, the Official Hometown Hospital of the New York Red Bulls, made a donation of $5,000 to nourish NJ, an organization providing nutritious meals in a warm, safe and caring environment, free of charge, to anyone who comes seeking nourishment.

“At Hackensack Meridian Health we are always focused on giving back to New Jersey and its communities and even more so now during these difficult times,” said Bob Garrett, CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health.  “Through our partnership with the New York Red Bulls we were able to provide funds that helped nourish.NJ provide warm, nutritious meals to those in need during the holiday season.”

"nourish.NJ is extremely grateful to the New York Red Bulls organization for their generous financial support and promoting employee engagement,” said Nancy Rudgers, Director of Development, nourish NJ. “Their partnership allows nourish.NJ to provide essential services in a barrier free and safe environment for people who have no other place to go for help.  We are proud to partner with an organization and their employees who are committed to reinforcing the importance of giving back and making a difference in our Morristown Community."

JLab Audio, the Official Audio Partner of the New York Red Bulls, donated 500 pairs of headphones to the children of Camden Street Elementary School and the After-School All-Stars, which provides free after-school programs that keep children safe and helps them succeed in school and life.  The headphones will provide extra assistance for the children being educated during virtual schooling.

"We are extremely thankful to have valued partners whose generous actions directly impact people within our community," said Marc de Grandpre, General Manager, New York Red Bulls. "The donations made by Hackensack Meridian Health and JLab Audio during the holiday season, in the midst of a pandemic, were inspiring and heartwarming, to say the least."

In addition, members of the Red Bulls staff donated funds and purchased holiday gifts for the 30 mentees of the club’s Mentorship Program, now in its fourth year. Over 100 gifts were hand-delivered to the mentees in Newark, NJ by members of the Red Bulls’ front office staff. The variety of gifts ranged from toys to clothing to school supplies; gifts requested for their family members were also fulfilled.
