New York Red Bulls captain Aaron Long made his first start for the United States Men's National Team since March of 2021, helping USMNT roll over Morocco, 3-0, on Wednesday in Cincinnati.
Long completed 88.4 percent of his passes and won 66.7 percent of his duels vs. Morocco.
"After recovering from a ruptured Achilles suffered in May 2021, Long returned to the team during the March window, making two substitute appearances in the 0-0 draw at Mexico and 5-1 win against Panama," according to USMNT notes.
Long, Tyler Adams and USMNT next take on Uruguay in Kansas City on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET on FOX, Univision, TUDN.
