Red Bull New York players Julian Hall and Adri Mehmeti have been named to the final United States Men’s National Team Roster for their upcoming September/October camp, U.S. Soccer announced today.Â
Hall, 18, has earned his first career call-up to the senior national team. Hall has represented the United States at the youth national team level. This season for New York, Hall has made 25 MLS appearances, where he has recorded nine goals and five assists.
Hall became the youngest player in MLS history to record a hat trick at 18 years, 50 days old, after scoring a hat trick in a 3-2 win over Columbus Crew on May 13. The Manhattan, N.Y. native, also was named an MLS All-Star this season, and became the second youngest player in club history to be named an All-Star at 18 years, 106 days old.Â
Mehmeti, 17, will be earning his first call-up to the senior national team. The midfielder has featured for the United States at the U-15 level. In his first full season with New York, Mehmeti has made 24 MLS appearances, where he has recorded one goal and five assists.
The Staten Island, N.Y. native tallied his first career MLS assist on February 21 and became the second youngest player to tally an assist in franchise history.
The United States Men’s National Team will be participating in four international friendlies during the window. USMNT will first take on Peru at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, FL on September 26, with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. ET. They will then play Chile at Energizer Park in Saint Louis, MO on September 29, with kickoff set for 8 p.m. ET. USMNT will then face Mexico on October 3 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ, with kickoff is set for 10 p.m. ET. Finally, they will battle Canada on October 6 at Allianz Field in St. Paul, MN, with kickoff set for 8 p.m. ET
