Felipe has been named to the Best XI for the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals Leg 1.
The midfielder played all 90 minutes for New York in their 1-1 draw against Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday night.
Felipe suffered four fouls in the game, drawing important free kicks for New York.
The Red Bulls and Whitecaps play Leg 2 of their series on March 2 in Canada.
