Fidel Escobar has been named to the Starting XI for Major League Soccer's Team of the Week presented by Audi.
Sean Davis and Carlos Rivas were also honored with a spot on the bench.
Escobar helped anchor the defensive line as the New York Red Bulls held the Portland Timbers scoreless in the MLS home opener at Red Bull Arena.
Rivas netted two goals for the Red Bulls to help ice the game, scoring the third and fourth goals for New York in the 4-0 victory. Davis notched an assist in his 90 minutes of play.
