Michael Amir Murillo and Panama triumphed over Trinidad & Tobago, 2-0, in their Gold Cup opening match.
Murillo started and went the full 90 minutes, helping keep the clean sheet.
Panama got goals in the 53rd and 68th minutes to get three points, and sit behind the United States at the top of Group D on goal differential.
They're back in action on Saturday, June 22 vs. Guyana.
