INSIDE THE 18: Dru Yearwood Tabbed for First MLS Start -



The 20-year-old English midfielder, Dru Yearwood, will get his first MLS start on Saturday night as the New York Red Bulls visit D.C. United at Audi Field.


Yearwood starts alongside Cristian Cásseres Jr. in the central midfield. Yearwood made his first appearance last match, playing a handful of minutes off the bench vs. Philadelphia Union.


Kaku, Daniel Royer and Mathias Jørgensen lead the attack for New York.


The 19-year-old forward is making his second MLS start and 10th appearance for RBNY. 


The Red Bulls will see five defenders take the field under Interim Head Coach Bradley Carnell: Jason Pendant, Aaron Long, Tim Parker, Sean Nealis and Kyle Duncan.


Ryan Meara will wear the captain's armband and start in goal.


Carnell will have nine players on the bench, with Amro Tarek, Jared Stroud, Samuel Tetteh, Ben Mines, Omir Fernandez, Florian Valot, Mandela Egbo and Brian White available as substitutes. David Jensen will serve as the team's backup goalkeeper.


Sean Davis and Marc Rzatkowski remain sidelined.

New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 6 p.m. EST with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
