Kemar Lawrence Called in For Jamaican National Team Friendly

HARRISON, N.J. (January 24, 2018) - New York Red Bulls defender and Jamaican international Kemar Lawrence has been called up a for January 31 friendly against World Cup-bound South Korea, as announced by the Jamaican Federation today. Lawrence is currently with Jamaica, and will report to camp with the Red Bulls following the end of the Reggae Boyz camp.

The match, Jamaica’s first of 2018, is set take place in the resort city of Antalya, Turkey on the Mediterranean Sea.

Lawrence’s next cap will be his 45th for the Jamaican senior side. The outside back has scored three goals for his country while representing the Reggae Boyz in major international competitions such as the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

2017 saw Lawrence log 2076 minutes for the Red Bulls in 24 games played.

Lawrence was nominated for 2017 CONCACAF Defender and Goal of the Year.
