Return of the Road Warriors?

Last season, New York was one of the best teams in the league on the road, tallying eleven wins across all competitions.

The Red Bulls made history at the start of the 2022 season, winning all of their first five road matches. One of those wins came at Exploria Stadium, where New York ran out 3-0 winners against Orlando City.

Will we see a sequel to the Road Warriors in 2023?

More from Morgan

Last season was a stellar one for Lewis Morgan.

In his first year in New York, Morgan tallied a career-high 18 goals across all competitions. That total was the highest for a Red Bulls player since Bradley Wright-Phillips scored 20 goals in 2018.

As one of the returning stars for the Red Bulls in 2023, Morgan will be looked on again to help lead the attack.

Chemistry Test

After an offseason of change, Orlando has a reloaded roster with a lot of new faces. New York, on the other hand, brings back a lot of key pieces from their 2022 roster.

When it comes to chemistry on the pitch and experience playing together, the Red Bulls have the edge over Orlando City.
