HARRISON, N.J. (May 31, 2021) – New York Red Bulls II welcome the Tampa Bay Rowdies to MSU Soccer Park on Wednesday, June 2, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET. Coverage is available on ESPN+. The match will be NYRB II’s first Pride Night presented by Alementary Brewing Company.
NYRB II are looking to bounce back after their 3-0 loss to Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Friday, May 28. Forward Serge Ngoma made his first appearance of the season, after being the youngest player to appear in a match for NYRB II last season. Â
This will be the first meeting of the season between the two clubs. The last time they met, Tampa Bay Rowdies defeated NYRB II, 1-0, in the opening match of last season on March 7, 2020.
NYRB II will wear newly made Pride uniforms, which will be on sale at MSU Soccer Park, while the game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off after the match with 92% of proceeds benefiting the New York Ramblers Scholarship.
Following Wednesday’s match, NYRB II will head on the road to face Hartford Athletic at Dillon Stadium on Saturday, June 5, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET.
