NYRB II are coming off a 2-1 loss to Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC. Midfielder Nico Nee made his professional debut. New York currently sit in seventh in the Atlantic Division, while Miami sits in fifth.
This will be the second USL Championship regular season meeting between New York and Miami, with Miami holding the advantage after defeating NYRB II, 1-0, on May 14. New York hold a 1-4-1 record at MSU Soccer this season.
Following Fridaysâs match, NYRB II will start a three-match road trip, beginning on Wednesday, July 7 at Charlotte Independence, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET.
