NYRB II are looking to bounce back after a 7-0 loss to Hartford Athletic on Saturday, June 5. Forward Cameron Harper and defender Jason Pendant made their USL Championship debuts in the match.
This will be the third meeting of the season between the two clubs. The last time they met, NYRB II and Charleston Battery tied 2-2, after NYRB II were down two goals at halftime. Forward Roald Mitchell scored his first professional goal in his first professional start, while defender Mandela Egbo recorded his club-leading third goal of the season. Â
Following Saturdays’s match, NYRB II will return home to MSU Soccer Park on Wednesday, June 16, to battle Charlotte Independence with kickoff set for 8 p.m. ET.
