This will be the 39th overall regular season meeting between the Red Bulls and Toronto, with New York holding the advantage in the overall series with a 20-9-9 mark, including a 5-7-7 mark on the road. New York are unbeaten in their last seven matches against Toronto FC, and have only lost once in their last four trips to BMO Field.

Goalkeeper Carlos Coronel recorded his 23rd career shutout with the Red Bulls in their 1-0 win against New York City FC on Saturday. Coronel is now three shutouts shy of passing Tony Meola for second place in franchise history. The Brazilian goalkeeper also earned his 30th career victory with the Red Bulls. New York have only allowed 11 goals in 12 matches this season, which is tied for the second lowest in MLS.
