New York and Orlando City will meet for the 11th time in league play as the Red Bulls own a 5-4-1 record in the all-time series. New York has struggled in Orlando, going winless in their last three matches (0-2-1) with both losses decided by one goal. New York continues to see production from their No. 9 position while Bradley Wright-Phillips looks to return to 90-minute fitness. The Red Bulls 2018 MLS SuperDraft selections Brian White (First Round) and Tom Barlow (Second Round) have taken advantage of their playing time, while BWP returns to form as they have combined for eight goals and two assists in 1,260 minutes played in league play. New York is 3-2-3 when either White or Barlow score a goal.
New York aims to bounce back from Wednesday’s 3-1 road loss to Toronto. The Red Bulls own a 3-2-2 mark in league play following a loss with a plus-three goal differential (13 GF, 10 GA). New York has responded with multi-goal performances in four of the seven matches following a loss.
