The United States Men’s U-20 National Team topped their group and head into the Round of 16 following a 2-0 win over Slovakia.
New York Red Bulls midfielder Daniel Edelman started and captained the side for the second match in a row.
The U-20s are yet to allow a goal in the group stage. Edelman played sixty minutes in the match vs. Slovakia.
According to US Soccer: With the victory and first place in Group B secured, the USA will face the third-place finisher from Group A, C or D in the Round of 16 on Tuesday, May 30 (1:30 p.m. ET; FS2). All three groups will have concluded play on Saturday.
