The New York Red Bulls’ new Venezuelan midfielder, Wikelman Carmona, will attend a Venezuela Under-20 camp that will be led by Head Coach Martín Carillo. Carmona is included in a list of 46 players, 12 of which are from the 2003 Generation. The camp will take place in Valencia, Venezuela between February 10 and February 20.
“In this camp we’re going to work the tactical part, so the players can start having a clear idea of what we’re looking for in the National Team,” said Carillo.
Carmona, who will turn 18 later this month, played for La Vinotinto’s U-17s in the 2019 South American Championships, in which he played 43 minutes and scored a golazo in the first stage of the tournament.
