New York Red Bulls midfielder Wiki Carmona has been called into the Venezuela Men’s National Team for their upcoming international friendlies in November, the federation announced today.
Carmona, 22, is in his fifth season with the Red Bulls, where he has made 100 career MLS appearances and has recorded five goals and seven assists.
The midfielder will be seeking his first career appearance with the Venezuela National Team. This will be his third career call-up to the senior national team after being called up in January 2022 for a camp. Carmona has made 10 appearances for Venezuela Youth National Teams, including the U-17’s and U-20’s.
Carmona and Venezuela will participate in two international friendlies during the November window. First, they will face Australia at Shell Energy Stadium in Texas on November 14. They will then face Canada on November 18 at Chase Stadium in Florida.
