Red Bulls forward Fabian Espindola and midfielder Dax McCarty have been named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week.

Both Espindola and McCarty were instrumental in New York's 4-1 win over the New England Revolution, as Espindola picked up his third goal of the season and McCarty his second.

MLSsoccer.com credited Espindola's pace and technique as a factor in his selection for the Starting XI, displaying both in New York's 1-0 loss to Sporting KC and the win over New England. As for McCarty, who makes his second straight appearance in the XI, credit goes to his play on both sides of the ball:

"Just keeps on ticking in the center of the New York midfield. Turned in two more bustling performances this week, making life difficult for his opponents on defense, distributing well and scoring a fine goal to open the floodgates in the 4-1 win over New England."

The joint honors come just one week after the Red Bulls saw Thierry Henry, McCarty and Jamison Olave receive the same.

In semi-related news, Henry claimed the No. 1 spot in MLS' Weekly Castrol Index with nearly a 500 point lead over the second place contender, but somehow didn't find his way onto the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week roster, despite potting this goal against the Revs.
