INSIDE THE 18: New York Red Bulls Open Quarterfinals at Red Bull Arena

The New York Red Bulls take on Club Santos Laguna in the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Quarterfinals on Tuesday at Red Bull Arena.

Leg 1 kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. ET with coverage on Univision Deportes, YahooSports.com and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.

Head Coach Chris Armas will debut his starters, with Bradley Wright-Phillips starting up top for the Red Bulls.

"If our mentality is right and we take care of business at home from the opening whistle, I think we can cause them some trouble," Armas said.

Daniel Royer, Kaku and Alex Muyl lead the attacking midfield, while Marc Rzatkowski and Sean Davis lock up the central midfield.

The Red Bulls come into the match on a nine-game unbeaten streak at home, dating back to 2018, while Santos Laguna are unbeaten in their last four away matches.

Connor Lade, Aaron Long, Tim Parker and Kyle Duncan start along the backline, ahead of Luis Robles in goal. Robles will wear the captain's armband.

Armas will have Amro Tarek, Derrick Etienne, Jr., Andreas Ivan, Omir Fernandez, Cristian Casseres, Jr. and Rece Buckmaster available off the bench. Ryan Meara will serve as backup goalkeeper.

Buckmaster was signed to New York Red Bulls II contract on Tuesday and subsequently added on a short-term loan.

Kemar Lawrence continues to work back to full fitness, while Michael Amir Murillo is suspended due to yellow card accumulation.

New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.
