Match Preview: NYRB II Look to Bounce Back at Home

HARRISON, N.J. (May 22, 2019) – New York Red Bulls II return home to MSU Soccer Park looking to bounce back against North Carolina F.C. on Friday, May 24, with kick-off set for 7 p.m. ET. The match can be seen live on ESPN+.

NYRB II suffered their second loss of the season on Saturday night against the Tampa Bay Rowdies, 2-0. NYRB II will have a great chance at returning to their winning ways, they currently hold a 5-1-1 record at home this season and have scored 19 goals in those matches.

NYRB II holds a series advantage over North Carolina F.C., with a 1-0-1 record. The last time these two clubs faced off against each other, NYRB II secured the three points on the road with the game-winning goal coming from current New York Red Bulls forward Tom Barlow.

North Carolina F.C. are coming off a 0-0 draw against Birmingham Legion FC. Former United States National Team head coach Dave Sarachan is in his first year in charge of North Carolina and has posted a 4-2-4 record thus far.
