HARRISON, N.J. (Sept 4, 2020) – The New York Red Bulls (3-4-2, 11 pts) welcome the Philadelphia Union (4-2-3, 15 pts) to Red Bull Arena on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. with coverage on MSG, MSG Go and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.


Coverage on MSG begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.


New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 6 p.m. EST with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 6:30 p.m.




The Red Bulls and Union meet for the 28th time in league play and the 13th time at Red Bull Arena during regular-season. New York is unbeaten in the last five matches against Philadelphia at Red Bull Arena in the regular season (3-0-2) and have not allowed a goal to the Union in the last three games at RBA.


New York and Philadelphia went toe-to-toe just 12 days ago at Subaru Park, as Kacper Przybylko tallied the eventual game winner in the 31st minute. Yonkers native Ryan Meara held strong in net, tallying three saves on four chances, while the offensive unit put up eight shots, three of which were on target.


Austrian winger Daniel Royer recorded his 100th career MLS regular-season appearance on Wednesday. Royer has tallied 36 goals and 14 assists in 7,156 minutes played. He has tallied 10-plus goals in his three previous seasons with New York and currently has one goal and one assist in eight matches played.


New York concludes MLS’s Phase 1 schedule with D.C. United on Saturday, Sept. 12. Kickoff at Audi Field is set for 7 p.m. with coverage on MSG, MSG Go and New York Red Bulls Radio.
