INSIDE THE 18: Aaron Long Returns to Starting XI at Chicago Fire FC -

Aaron Long is back in the lineup for the New York Red Bulls as they prepare to take on Chicago Fire FC at Soldier Field on Saturday night.

Long last played on October 7 against Inter Miami CF.

The Californian centerback will be joined on the back line by Jason Pendant, Tim Parker and Kyle Duncan. Ryan Meara will start in goal.

The defense is looking to keep their streak alive, as they have not allowed a goal from the run of play over the last three matches.

Dru Yearwood, Sean Davis, Florian Valot and Jared Stroud all get the nods to start, as well as Samuel Tetteh and Tom Barlow.

New York have won three of their last five road games (3-1-1).

Interim Head Coach Bradley Carnell will have Amro Tarek, Omir Fernandez, Cristian Cásseres Jr., Caden Clark, Mandela Egbo, Brian White, Danny Royer and Marc Rzatkowski available off the bench. David Jensen will serve as the backup goalkeeper.

Kaku is still quarantining following his return from national team duty.

Coverage on MSG begins at 7 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.

New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 6:30 p.m. EST with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 7 p.m.
