New York Red Bulls II will host San Diego Loyal SC on Thursday, June 2, at Red Bull Arena.
AJ Marcucci will wear the captain’s armband and make his ninth start of the season in net. He is four saves away from 100 in his professional career.
Jason Pendant will make his first appearance for Red Bulls II since May 8, getting the start alongside Juan Castillo, Christopher Cragwell, and O’Vonte Mullings. The match will mark the return from injury for Cragwell, marking his first match since May 14.
The defensive midfield will be Daniel Edelman and Sam Williams.
The attacking portion of the midfield will consist of Jeremy Rafanello, Caden Clark, and Jonathan Filipe. It will mark Clark’s first appearance of the season for Red Bulls II.
Jordan Adebayo-Smith will be the striker option up front for New York. He has scored a goal in two of his last three matches.
The bench for Gary Lewis will consist of Derrek Chan, Lamine Conte, Curtis Ofori, Michael Knapp, Jack Casey, Adam Najem, and Illia Tyrkus.
