HARRISON, N.J. (June 3, 2021) – New York Red Bulls II head to Dillon Stadium to face off against Hartford Athletic on Saturday, June 5, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Coverage is available on ESPN+.
NYRB II are coming off a 1-0 defeat to Tampa Bay Rowdies on Wednesday, June 2. NYRB II forward Omar Sowe made his 25th professional appearance for the club. Â
This will be the second meeting of the season between the two clubs. The last time they met, Hartford Athletic defeated NYRB II, 3-2, in the first match of the 2021 season. Forward Jake Lacava and defender Mandela Egbo each recorded their first goals of the season.
Hartford Athletic are currently in third place of the Atlantic Division with seven points, they have not played since May 15, which they tied Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, 1-1.
Following Saturday’s match, NYRB II will remain on the road to face Charleston Battery at Patriots Point on Saturday, June 12, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
