HARRISON, N.J. (August 27, 2020) - New York Red Bulls II will travel to Segra Field on Saturday, August 29, to take on Loudoun United FC. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET, with coverage available on ESPN+.
NYRB II most recently suffered a 2-1 road defeat to Hartford Athletic on Saturday, August 15. Sebastian Elney recorded his team leading third goal of the season. Academy players Alex Bobocea, Bo Cummins, and Tapiwa Shumba made their first professional starts.
The last time the two clubs met, Loudoun United FC defeated NYRB II, 2-1, on August 12 at Red Bull Arena. Defender Preston Kilwien recorded his first professional goal in the defeat.
Loudoun United FC is currently fourth place in the group with five points, and most recently earned a point on the road at Dillon Stadium battling Hartford Athletic to a 2-2 draw on Sunday, August 23.
Following Saturday’s match, NYRB II will return home to face Pittsburgh Riverhounds on September 5, with kickoff set for 5 p.m. ET.
