LIJSL x Official Youth Partner w background

The New York Red Bulls and LIJSL have been player development partners since 2011 and recently announced a new multi-year partnership.

The partnership includes involvement at many levels. The deal allows the Red Bulls exclusive rights as the LIJSL camp provider and Regional Development School (RDS) partner. The relationship between LIJSL and the Red Bulls has provided a pathway for talented players to progress onto Red Bulls Academy teams. During this span, the Long Island RDS has been the most successful RDS region for RDS players graduating to the Academy, with more than 20 players completing the transition. Additionally, through community-based programming, thousands of young players have benefited from attending LIJSL/Red Bulls summer camps.

About LIJSL

The Long Island Junior Soccer League is focused on increasing services and programs designed to benefit children and grow the sport of soccer on Long Island. The LIJSL currently serves over 60,000 youth soccer players on 97 clubs and over 3,500 teams (including over 1600 travel teams). The league operates under the banner of the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA). ENYYSA is one of 15 National State Associations that are members of Region 1. There are 55 National State Associations and four regions which make up the United States Youth Soccer Association. It is the mission of the league to foster the growth and development of youth through the sport of soccer to individuals under the age of nineteen at all levels of competition. The league shall administer the orderly management of governmental affairs of the game of soccer in the Long Island area.
